A couple of weeks ago our team was at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas. This was the first year we participated at this event, and it was quite interesting to see the increased interest and buzz around SAP security. Now, I realize "SAP security" is a very broad term - but it boils down to protecting your precious SAP data two ways: from external AND internal threats. Often the latter is overlooked - and that's why SAP access security is so important. So, if you were asked by your CIO how your SAP access security is looking what would you say? Are you ready for a year-end security audit? Are you ready for GDPR? These are all questions we can help you answer in our next live webcast on Thursday, October 19th.
The ERP Maestro offices are headquartered just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. That put us right in the middle of ferocious Hurricane Irma this past weekend. Fortunately, aside from minor damage and inconveniences like loss of power and internet we’re extremely grateful to still be standing, and are hoping for the best for our neighbors in other parts of Florida as well as the Caribbean. With that said, as we’re getting back into the swing of things after a hectic week, we are now re-focusing our attention on the next exciting event to come in less than 2 weeks – SAP TechEd 2017 in Las Vegas...
Last week I was super excited to sit with Jody and walk through our new Online Dashboard with deep-dive reporting capabilities. What added to the excitement was all the rave reviews we received from customers and prospects alike! It's easy to see why when you think about how much time we're saving them from wading through massive amounts of risk data - and how quickly we're able to present that data in a way that drives remediation action and results.
If you've been following along, you'll know that back in March we first made mention of the new Online Reporting & Dashboard capabilities headlining our next release...but we weren't really able to elaborate on the details because we were still a bit early in the development process. We're thrilled to announce that this feature is now officially available as of this past weekend! The truth is that any blog post won't do it justice, though - which is why we will soon be doing a LIVE webinar to show it in action. Read on to learn more about this huge new feature release.
With summer coming to an end, audit cycles are creeping up soon and that means the annual review of internal controls, including segregation of duties (SoD), will once again commence. Companies that still haven’t taken the plunge towards automating these controls, or use manual processes to do so, will likely face a high number of SoD risks and audit deficiencies.
